Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** ------------------------ * Operate loaders and other mobile equipment to safely load customer trucks and support terminal operations. * Perform quality control testing and accurately document results to help ensure product specifications are met. * Manage material stockpiles, inventory movement, and housekeeping throughout the terminal. * Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and report operational issues promptly. * Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety, productivity, and environmental standards. **What Are We Looking For** --------------------------- * Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an aggregates, construction, industrial, or material handling environment. * Ability to perform quality control testing, maintain accurate records, and recognize potential product quality issues. * Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence. * Effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, customers, and team members. * Dependable, self-motivated individual who can prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs. **Conditions of Employment** ---------------------------- * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** -------------------- * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** ----------------- * $22.50 to $33.01 per hour * 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions * Highly competitive benefits programs, including: * Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits * Health Saving Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) * AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance * Paid Bonding Leave, 10 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
