Equity Derivatives - High Touch Sales Trader

In recognition of such international strength, the renowned international rating agency Standard and Poor’s has assigned Huatai International a “BBB+” rating (for long term) and “A-2” (for short-term). _**Job Description:**_ * Identify revenue opportunities with existing clients and develop new accounts to maximize revenue * Execute institutional clients’ orders for global markets * Interact with institutional clients on market color, flow and stock ideas to generate business * Handle client’s requests / enquiries * Work with equity derivatives, sales, research and electronic sales trading teams to provide best coverage for clients * Lead system optimization and ad hoc projects * Train up junior sales trading staff * Coordinate with operations, compliance, settlement teams to resolve settlement failure, trade exceptions and ensure end-to-end process integrity _**Qualifications:**_ * Bachelor with major in business administration or related academic discipline is preferred * Minimum 10 years of experience in equity trading area with wide hedge fund coverage & knowledge in algorithmic trading preferred * SFC licensed with Type 1 and 4, knowledgeable about local and cross border regulatory and compliance requirements A robust network of relationships with institutional clients, especially international LO & HF, are preferred. * Strong client development skills * Knowledge in any programming language is a plus * Strong experience on block trade, good sense of compliance and risk control * Good team player and ability to work under pressure with attention to details * Excellent interpersonal and communication skill on both written and verbal, English and Mandarin
