Brown & Brown is seeking an **Executive Assistant** to join our team in **Plano, Texas**. This exciting role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day and routine needs of the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) and IT Department’s Senior Leadership Team. The Executive Assistant will support routine assignments and tasks to be in alignment with the company and department’s strategic plans and policies. This role will be critical in connecting and communicating with teammates within the IT Department, as well as supporting senior leaders’ communications and reports for executives and other departments. This role is an integral position, requiring an adaptive and discrete professional, to support the IT Department’s productivity and effectiveness through concise communications, coordination and strong organization.
**WHAT YOU’LL DO:**
* Manages and prepares responses for email, letters and other communications.
* Manages, implements, and coordinates the department’s operations.
* Serves as a liaison between teammates, executives, and team leaders.
* Prepares routine and one-off presentation materials and reports.
* Offers insight on business/department analysis.
* Collaborates with and directs IT team leaders to support and prioritize business and departmental needs.
* Creates and maintains cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership and business success.
* Oversees administration of departmental and/or cross-functional projects and initiatives, as assigned.
* Focused on departmental coordination and administration, corporate communications, and strategic enterprise planning.
* Creates systems and processes to streamline operations.
* Plans, coordinates, and develops content for executive and enterprise-wide presentations.
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED:**
* Able to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
* Able to travel.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
**Preferred:**
* 4+ years in a similar or project administrative role.
* 2+ years working in a professional environment with routine interaction with senior-level leaders.
* An Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field of study.
