Executive Engineer

Responsibilities: * Carry out C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay wall, port, jetty, revetment and land reclamation etc. for local and/or oversea projects * Assist the Project Lead / Project Manager / Design Manager to carry out: * C&S, environmental and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay wall, port, jetty, revetment and land reclamation (i.e: deep and shallow foundation, temporary and permanent retaining system, soil improvement, instrumentation, etc) * Plan for Site investigation and result interpretation, * Managing sub contracts (i.e: soil investigation contract, Accredited Checker contract, biodiversity contract etc) * Supervise both design and/or site work * Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice * Engage and manage stakeholders, such as clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties * Support on pursue project : assist in tender submission Requirements: * Bachelor Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering recognised by BCA/IES/ACES and from reputable university * Minimum 2-5 years of relevant civil engineering experience in large scale infrastructure/reclamation projects * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English * Team player and able to multi-task * Discipline, self-motivated and resourceful * Experience in contract administration will be advantageous * Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite of Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc) * Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plaxis etc At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
