Experienced Lead Guide – Northern Lights & Lapland Adventures We are looking for experienced and responsible Lead Guides to join the Lapland Explorers team in Rovaniemi for the upcoming winter season. The employment period is from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027. Depending on operational needs, there may also be an opportunity to start already in September. This position is ideal for an experienced guide who is ready to take the next step in their career. As a Lead Guide, you will be responsible for your own tours as well as the performance, development and success of your guide team. In addition to an hourly salary, Lead Guides receive commission and bonuses based on their team’s performance, quality and shared results. Your responsibilities include Guiding Northern Lights tours and other experiences Leading and supporting your own guide team Coordinating evening operations Ensuring tour quality and safety Training and developing new guides Motivating the team and providing feedback Supporting sales, quality and customer satisfaction targets Working closely with operational management We expect Previous guiding experience Strong customer-service and leadership skills The ability to take responsibility for the success of others Calm decision-making in changing situations Initiative and problem-solving ability Fluent spoken English Availability for evening, night and weekend work Considered an advantage Additional language skills Northern Lights guiding experience Knowledge of Lapland and Arctic conditions Photography skills Previous team leadership experience We offer A responsible role in a growing local tourism company The opportunity to lead and develop your own team Varied work with international customers An hourly salary of EUR 14–16 depending on experience Commission and bonuses linked to your team’s performance With excellent performance during the peak season, total monthly earnings can reach approximately EUR 5,000 Training, support and clear operating procedures Opportunities for increased responsibility and career development Further details about the commission and bonus model will be provided during the interview.
