**About the Opportunity**
As the Facility Manager, you will be the **key operational lead** for all FM activities on site — overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance, and supporting a safe and efficient hospital environment.
You’ll work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, provide technical and strategic advice, and lead a team of FM and trade professionals to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
* Managing day‑to‑day FM operations including planned maintenance, reactive works and soft services coordination
* Leading contractor performance, scheduling, supervision and quality assurance
* Ensuring WHS compliance, inductions, risk assessments and safe work practices
* Monitoring performance, work orders, compliance tasks and reporting
* Preparing monthly performance reports, maintenance summaries and defect logs
* Managing site‑level budgets, invoices, variations and procurement
* Coordinating shutdowns, inspections and business continuity planning
* Building strong relationships with hospital leaders and clinical teams
* Supporting a culture of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement
**What You’ll Bring**
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar FM role
* Experience in complex environments — hospital or clinical facilities highly regarded
* Strong understanding of building services, infrastructure and maintenance delivery
* Proven contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage risk, compliance and operational performance
* Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving capability
* Trade or engineering qualifications (electrical/mechanical) highly regarded
