Field Service Technician

About the role ============== This is a hands-on role to liaise and support customers with onsite repairs and service, together with the Supervision of field services personnel, ensuring the day-to-day safe and efficient running of the assigned area. * Dismantle, Inspection, machining, repair and rebuilding of both Sulzer and non-Sulzer rotating equipment * Field service repairs and/or overhauls in both workshop and client locations * Supervision of subcontractors, from time to time * Liaising with customers to compile job reports and represent Sulzer in all aspects of rotating equipment services. * Assist in the production and maintenance of the OSH, Quality and Environment policies and procedures * Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO accreditation * Interpreting engineering drawings * Balancing of rotating Equipment, and Alignment of pumps, motors etc. * Machining of components   **Education requirements** * Trade Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. **Key skills / Experience / Role Requirement** * 5+ years’ experience with Electrical / Mechanical products. * Field Service Experience * Strong communication skills. * High level skills in time management. * Ability to engage and work with others. * Travel ~ >50% of time. **Language skills** * Fluent in written and spoken English is a must.
