We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity. **Partner with the best** As a Mud Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting tests to adjust fluid properties, collaborating with the drilling team, managing fluid-related costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.  **As a Field Specialist (Mud Engineer ), you will be responsible for:** As a Mud Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting tests to adjust fluid properties, collaborating with the drilling team, managing fluid-related costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.  **You will be responsible for:** * Providing onsite services by measuring, testing, and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific recommendations for controlling fluid properties. * May make sales calls on the field and field office level or accompany Sales Representative performing the same function. * May train and direct work of entry level engineers. * Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal, Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values. **To be successful in this role you will:** * Have a bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering. * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mud Engineer working at the rig site. * Have the flexibility to work rotation working schedule at the rig site based on business needs The Baker Hughes internal title for this role is: FIELD SPEC II - FLD
