Figma Design Specialist

### Project Scope ### Focus is on Figma migration work: Moving a subset of files and a shared design library to a new account Expect breakages (especially tokens) that must be fixed/reconnected ### Includes: ### Initial sandbox testing ### Assessment + effort estimation ### Full migration execution ### Estimated timeline: ### ~1 month testing ### ~1–2 months migration work ### ✅ Top Candidate Requirements (Non-Negotiables) Deep Figma expertise + token-level knowledge Strong understanding of design tokens, shared libraries, and cascading properties ### Strong communication / seniority Ability to evaluate, estimate effort, and advise on migration ### Design systems experience Experience with components, patterns, and scalable UI systems 👉 Token experience is the highest priority vs. admin or migration-only experience. ### 🎯 Preferred Background 7–10 years of experience (senior-level role) ### Experience with: Design systems (building or influencing them) ### Tokenization (critical) ### Shared libraries in Figma ### Industry background: Open to any domain ### ➕ Nice-to-Have (Not Required) Figma migration experience (helpful but not required) Token Studio tool familiarity (helpful but not mandatory) Backend/dev knowledge (bonus; dev support available) Experience with GitHub-backed token workflows ### 🧑‍💼 Role Expectations ### This person will: ### Act as a lead during migration Help define approach and execution strategy Work with additional designers, a design system manager, engineering, and Figma support Originally posted on [Himalayas](https://himalayas.app)
