**Lets Write Africa's Story Together!** Old Mutual is a firm believer in the African opportunity and our diverse talent reflects this. **Job Description** Provides specialist support to high volumes of customers, handling complex queries Provides expert product and service knowledge that may lead to large sales generation. **Minimum Requirements:** * Namibian citizen; * NQF Level 7 Tertiary qualification in Finance &/or Accounting; * Completed Chartered Accountant articles will be an added advantage; * 5 Years of working experience in reinsurance and/or financial reporting in the insurance industry; * Knowledge of the short-term insurance industry will be beneficial; * Proficiency in MS Office, and data analysis and visualization tools; * Experience working in Agile environments; * Excellent numerical ability required; * Ability to work under pressure; * Ability to work independently, be proactive and provide strategic insight; * Excellent written and verbal communication as well as organisational skills; * Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills; * Excellent time management skills required; and * Strong team player, capable of stepping in other roles. **Job Description:** * Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all reinsurance transactions. * Improve oversight of reinsurance balances, recoverables, payables, and treaty settlements. * Enhance compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements. * Actively monitor outstanding recoveries from reinsurers. * Ensure timely collection of reinsurance claims and settlements. * Reduce aged balances and improve working capital management. * Provide accurate and timely management information relating to reinsurance performance. * Support statutory, regulatory, and group reporting requirements. * Improve transparency of reinsurance costs, recoveries, and profitability. * Provide financial analysis on reinsurance arrangements, treaty performance, and recoverability trends. * Support underwriting, actuarial, and finance teams with data-driven insights. * Contribute to optimisation of reinsurance structures from a financial perspective. * Establish dedicated ownership and accountability for reinsurance accounting activities. * Strengthening the integrity of OMSIC's financial reporting. * Enhancing management of reinsurance assets and liabilities. * Supporting efficient recovery of reinsurance claims. na **Skills** Consultative Selling, Customer Complaint Management, Customer Feedback Management, Customer-Focused, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software, Customer Service, Customer Service Operations, Customer Understanding, Data Management, Digital Consumer Engagement, Identifying Sales Opportunities, Probing Questions, Sales Data Management, Strengthening Customer Relationships, Upselling **Competencies** Action Oriented Collaborates Communicates Effectively Customer Focus Decision Quality Directs Work Interpersonal Savvy Manages Complexity **Education** NQF Level 7 - Degree, Advance Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate or equivalent **Closing Date** 08 September 2026 , 23:59 _**The Old Mutual Story!**_
