Financial Analyst

Job Posting Title: Financial Analyst (14-month contract) Req ID: 10155560 Job Description: Perform financial reviews and analyses to support the period-end close reporting and recurring forecasts, as well as the Management to make sound and timely business decisions. **Responsibilities:** * Develop, maintain and improve financial models supporting analyses / assessments. * Prepare quarterly financial statements for Senior Management and Board of Directors. * Perform analyses of financial results including trend analysis of key financial accounts. * Facilitate external and internal audits and control testing. * Research on new accounting standards and assess the impacts to financial statements. * Develop / maintain efficient work processes and strike for continuous improvement. **Requirements:** * Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business related disciplines * 2-3 years of accounting and financial reporting experience in Multi-national Companies. Audit experience in international accounting firms is preferred * Familiar with Hong Kong Accounting Standards; knowledge of US GAAP is a plus * Proficient in MS Office application; advanced Excel skills preferred * Collaborative team player with good communication skills * Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese * Member/Finalist of HKICPA or equivalent professional bodies is required * Candidate with less experience will be considered for the Assoc.
