**A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic**
**Responsibilities**
Profitability & Performance Analysis
* Analyze client, product, and operational profitability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Develop and maintain profitability models (by customer, route, service, etc.).
* Monitor and report on target margins, including detailed variance analysis and actionable insights.
* Identify cost-saving and revenue optimization opportunities across operations (e.g., sort, linehaul, compensation).
Reporting & Business Insights
* Prepare and present financial reports for key stakeholders.
* Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Ensure data integrity and validate inputs from various stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve accuracy.
* Build dashboards and automated reporting tools to enhance visibility on financial performance.
Business Partnering
* Partner with Sales teams to review P&L performance, revenue trends, and forecasts.
* Lead regular business reviews with Sales to evaluate profitability and performance against targets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that improve margins and efficiency.
* Support international business units with financial analysis and performance tracking.
Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process, particularly on revenue and profitability components.
* Develop financial projections and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
* Monitor actual performance against revenue forecasts and explain key variances.
Continuous Improvement & Post-Implementation Review
* Conduct post-implementation reviews of initiatives to assess financial impact and identify improvement areas.
* Recommend process enhancements to improve financial tracking, reporting accuracy, and decision-making.
* Drive standardization of profitability analysis methodologies across the organization.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects
* Support financial analysis and business case development for special projects and strategic initiatives.
* Support leadership with data-driven insights for key business decisions.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in administration or accounting
* CPA title (an asset)
* Relevant experience as a financial analyst (2 to 4 years)
* Bilingual (English and French)
* Able to popularize operational activities and transpose them into a financial context
* Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration and initiative
* Excel (Formula, macro and programming an asset)
