Fire Protection Engineer

**About the Role** We are seeking a highly capable and motivated **Fire Protection Engineer** to join our Jakarta Building Services team. This role will play a key part in delivering projects across **New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore**, offering strong international exposure. **Key Responsibilities** * Deliver projects across all stages - from inception, feasibility, and concept through to detailed design * Plan and manage project resourcing to meet programme, budget, and utilisation targets * Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding client needs and delivering fit-for-purpose technical solutions * Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across regional offices * Mentor and support engineers, driving team capability, growth, and knowledge sharing * Oversee team workload planning to ensure balanced distribution and optimal utilisation * Maintain high standards of quality across all deliverables, including reports and calculations * Actively participate in personal performance development and ensure CPD requirements are met * Uphold professional and ethical standards at all times * Ensure contributions align with organisational goals and business objectives **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) * Minimum **4+ years’ experience** in an engineering consultancy environment * Strong technical expertise in building services (Plumbing & Drainage systems) * Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills * Proficiency in **English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal)** * Ability to work effectively across different markets and project types * Demonstrated drive to grow, lead, and strengthen a team * Ability to integrate into and contribute to a high-performing team culture **What We’re Looking For** * A collaborative team player who strengthens an already positive culture * Someone comfortable working across **international standards and multi-office teams** * A mentor committed to developing and supporting junior engineer **What We Offer** * Opportunity to **help shape a growing team in Jakarta** * Exposure to international projects across **ANZ and Singapore** * A collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment * Competitive salary and benefits package * Clear and structured **career progression opportunities**
