We are looking for energetic and passionate fitness instructors who are eager to embrace the clubTHRIVE mission of delivering optimal fitness programs while creating memorable vacation experiences.  **Site Specific Perks** * AAA Four Diamond Resort  * Free daily associate meal  * Complimentary soft drinks, coffee and tea  * Celebratory Luncheons  * Company branded attire for outdoor associates  * Complimentary work shoes   * Discounted bus pass  * Discounts to onsite spa and food outlets   * Community service opportunities  * Sustainability awards – Audubon Green Lodging   **CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**  * Instruct group fitness classes to the ability of the Owners and guests participating (e.g., aqua aerobics, stretching, mind body, cardio/strength, outdoor nature walks, senior classes and youth classes).   * Deliver classes with an enthusiastic and engaging teaching style to promote a safe, fun, and relaxing atmosphere for guests.   * Instruct personalized, small group, semi-private classes and one-on-one personal training.   * Assess individual's current exercise program and level of fitness and develop personalized exercise programs and provide fitness counseling within the clubTHRIVE program standards.   * Obtain group fitness certification within thirty (30) days of hire.   * For resorts offering RUN level program, personal training certification required within ninety (90) days of hire. * Welcome and acknowledge all Owners and guests; anticipate and address Owner and guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; always show genuine interest and appreciation.   * Maintain professionalism when interacting with Owners, guests and co-workers; use clear and professional language.   * Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team/co-workers to reach common goals; listen/respond appropriately feedback from co-workers in and outside of your department.  * Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.   * Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. * Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; properly maintain confidential and proprietary information - protect company assets.   * Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop (bend head or body forward or downward); grasp, turn, and manipulate objects; move up and down stairs and/or service ramps; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.   * Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.  * Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.  * Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.  Marriott Vacations Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
