Fixed Assets & Intercompany Analyst

**Job Description:** **Your Purpose and Impact at Mars** In this position, you will be part of the Finance team, playing a fundamental role in supporting our Fixed Assets and Intercompany accounting activities. You will operate in a collaborative, multi-entity environment, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and contributing to a strong control framework, with the autonomy to drive process improvements and grow with our business. **What are we looking for?** **Essential Requirements (What is indispensable to start):** * University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. * A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting. * Knowledge of general accounting principles and period-end close processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and Pivot Tables. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English. **Desirable Requirements (These will be considered differentiators, but you can learn with us):** * Experience specifically with Fixed Assets and/or Intercompany accounting. * Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. * Previous experience in a Record-to-Report or Shared Services environment. * Experience working with multiple legal entities and/or currencies. **What will be your key responsibilities?** * **Collaborate** actively with Business Units and Finance stakeholders to manage Fixed Assets and Intercompany accounting transactions across a multi-entity environment. * **Support** the integrity of our financial statements by preparing and analyzing account reconciliations for both Fixed Assets and Intercompany balances. * **Drive** the resolution of accounting differences by investigating variances, monitoring open items, and coordinating with counterparties. * **Contribute** to our continuous improvement culture by identifying opportunities to standardize and enhance Fixed Assets and Intercompany processes. **What can you expect from Mars?** * Work with over 150,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles. * Join a purpose-driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today. * Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University. * An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus. #LI-Onsite
