******Job Description Summary****** =================================== **Job Description** =================== **Essential Responsibilities**  * Be partner of business Leader in the Flight Deck transformation journey  * Drive & foster a Continuous improvement culture, where the whole team owns transformation plan  * Lead complex & inter-functional improvement projects with a goal of enhanced performance  * Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices  * Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute the Flight Deck strategy for process improvement  * Ability to document current and plan for future Value Stream Map, presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders  * Communicates solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations  * Facilitate, train, and coach other team members in the use of Flight Deck tools  * Will be GEAPS advocate in the Area assigned, in order to drive adoption & cultural evolution  **Qualifications/Requirements**  * Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial)  * Previous experience in operational or technical roles in a complex manufacturing environment  * Understanding of manufacturing processes  * Demonstrated ability to analyze and use the Problem Solving Approach  * Strong oral and written communication skills  * Strong relationship & leadership skills: able to influence, motivate and work effectively within a matrix environment  * Fluency in Italian and English  * knowledge and application on Lean Manufacturing Methodology and tools  * Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required  **Desired characteristics**  * Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs  * Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing  * Green Belt Certification  **Why Join Us:** At Avio Aero, people power our progress.
