Floater Equipment Operator - Aggregate Plant

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Operate various types of heavy equipment including loaders, haul trucks, drillers and scalers * Perform general labor tasks to support plant and quarry operations * Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities * Monitor material flow and ensure safe, efficient production * Adapt to changing tasks and priorities throughout the workday **What Are We Looking For** * Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment * Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative * Ability to work effectively in a team and independently * Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks across quarry operations * Commitment to safety and continuous improvement **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $27.33 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate * $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
