This position ensures high-quality beverage and food service by preparing consistently and following standardized recipes. The **Food Services Associate** maintains compliance with health and safety standards through proper food handling and sanitation practices while keeping equipment, workstations, and service areas clean, organized, and ready for efficient operation. **Position Details:** * **Schedule:** This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, 38 weeks a year (during academic year). Interviews will begin within a week of the first review date. **Required Document (1):** * Resume **Failure to include this document with your application submission will render your application ineligible.** **Accountabilities:** * Ensures high-quality beverage service by maintaining consistency in preparation and adhering to standardized recipes. * Maintains compliance with health and safety standards by overseeing proper food handling and sanitation practices. * Upholds a clean and organized service environment by ensuring regular sanitation of equipment and workstations. * Adheres to college policies, directives and work rules while maintaining a commitment to the college’s mission, vision and values. * Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** * Knowledge of retail sales operations such as operating a point-of-sale system. * Knowledge of food handling, sanitation and safety regulations. * Ability to accurately handle financial transactions, reconcile cash drawers and maintain financial records. * Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain consistency. * Ability to provide effective customer service and resolve concerns. * Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment. * Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others. **Minimum Requirements:** * High School or equivalent additional work experience * 0-2 years of relevant working experience * Ability to obtain a ServSafe Certification during the onboarding process **Madison College does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position.
