**Job Category:** ================= Manufacturing & Operations **Job Family:** =============== Plant Production **Work Shift:** =============== Float (United States of America) **Job Description:** ==================== **Material Handling** **Lot Truck Driver/Forklift/Relief Receiver \[PH\]** **MUST HAVE CLASS "A" CDL** **What you’ll do** * _Transports inbound and outbound loads of finished products, bulk cheese, cheese drums and boxes and other necessary supplies or equipment to and from Monett plant lot and docks._ * _Support bulk cooler attendants with unloading process of bulk items._ * _Support shipping attendants with loading process of finished product._ * _Performs safety and maintenance inspection of vehicle, reports problems and makes necessary arrangements for correction or repair_ * _Keeps accurate records of trailers at the Monett facility, including lot checks. Coordinate trailer needs for each department._ * _Any and all other duties as assigned by the Team Advisor/Team Leader_ * _Responsible for proper housekeeping in work area and proper sanitation of equipment while operating it_ * _Work with leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner safety_ **What you need to succeed** * _High School Diploma – G.E.D._ * _Must have a Class “A” CDL_ _(General Knowledge and Air Brake Exam) and pass road test_ * _Ability to pass an ICC physical every two years and a vision test every year_ * _Ability to develop an excellent working relationship with personnel_ * _Must have a general mechanical knowledge of a semi-tractor in order to troubleshoot problem areas_ * _Ability to perform all duties with minimal supervision_ * _Ability to handle a moderate amount of paperwork_ * _Ability to perform all duties of the Shipping and Bulk Attendant_ * _Relieve the Shipping and Bulk Attendant as requested._ * _Must have an absenteeism rate of 65 points or less, commendable or better record in teamwork and overall job performance and have no disciplinary action._ * _English speaking/reading requirement in positions that require comprehension of the English language._   **Experience** * _Semi-tractor driving_ * _Two seasons (winter plus spring, summer or fall)_ **Physical demands** * _Stand – 2 hours_ * _Walk – 2 hours_ * _Sit – 4 hours_ * _Forklift use – 3 hours_ * _Lift/carry up to 70 pounds – 1 hour_ **Wage: Production 02-2A ($23.58 - $27.77 base wage) 24-MONTH PROGRESSION** **Eligible partners will receive:** =================================== **Eligible partners will receive:** * **Get not one, but TWO retirement benefits.** When you join our employee-owned company, you’ll be part of our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) from day one.
