Founding Engineer

Founding Engineer @ Superunit ============================= As a founding engineer at Superunit, you'll work closely with the founders on the company's highest-priority problems across the stack. ### About Superunit Superunit builds AI tools for Consumer Reporting Agencies, Lenders, tenants screeners and more. We tripled our revenue in the last 3 months to a 7 figure annual run rate. We’re growing the team to reach Series A milestones in the next year. ### What you'll build \- **AI Agents**. Our agents crawl the web, talk on the phone, send faxes and emails, and perform verifications the way a human would. \- **APIs and Dashboards** for our growing product offering. We recently launched in the tenant screening space and have many new customers clamoring for new features. \- **Internal tooling** for our operations team to pick up where the AI leaves off. Sometimes our agents flag a human for help. You’ll decide when they do and help them do it less. \- **Database pipelines** that handle thousands of verifications per day across a dozen sources. ### Who you’ll build it with Peter previously founded a golf equipment company and grew it to 8 figure in revenue. Zach built systems at Stripe that processed a billion dollars in transactions daily. ### What we're looking for \- **3+ years** of professional software engineering experience \- A quick learner ready to scale existing systems and build new ones with autonomy \- Comfort building AI tools and using AI to code \- Strong working knowledge of computer science fundamentals \- Strong communication skills ### The role We're in the office **5 days a week** — this is not a hybrid role, though we're flexible when conflicts come up. You'll be part of a small team and help shape a warm, rigorous, and fun company culture.
