Unlike other programs that only teach English once a week, we believe in daily practice, so kids absorb the language just like they would their first words. In Japan, English education often focuses too much on grammar and isn’t always practical. When students move on to junior high school, their English skills are graded. Many parents, concerned about those grades, end up investing time and money in English education that focuses on test scores. However, at our kindergarten, we can focus on practical English skills. The quickest way to language mastery is through time and frequency—and we provide both, in one of the rare kindergartens that offer this program. In Japan, once kids reach elementary or junior high school, English becomes a subject to “study.” Unfortunately, we don’t expect this to change anytime soon. Parents, focused on boosting their children’s English test scores, often forget that true fluency in English should be the goal. That’s why we believe the best time for kids to genuinely connect with English, free from the constraints of those systems, is in their early childhood. We invite you to bring your experience to this wonderful environment and make a difference! **Job Description:** * English After-School Coordinator for Preschool Graduates * Conduct 4-6 lessons using the GrapeSEED Method during the day. * Prepare English lessons together with other English teachers. * Support in the after-school care classes. * After-school lessons (starting likely in about 2 years). * Clean the classrooms after use. * Participate in school events. * Ensure the safety and care of the students. * Possibility of promotion to a managerial position. You’ll be teaching kids aged 2 to 6 during the day. After 2 PM, you’ll spend time with children in extended care, playing in the yard or enjoying games. In the future, we aim to open an English conversation class for elementary students who want to continue learning English even after graduation. English teachers will also be involved in student safety management, planning and running events, and administrative support. **Benefits:** Since we’re a government-recognized kindergarten, our benefits package is top-notch! * After working for over a year, you’ll receive a retirement bonus based on your years of service. * If you live within 2.5 km of the workplace, you’ll get a monthly housing allowance of at least ¥29,000, regardless of how long you’ve worked. (Note: You must be the primary leaseholder; shared housing is not eligible for this allowance.) * After working for over a year, you’ll also be eligible for maternity leave benefits. * You’ll be able to join the employment insurance program. * Annual salary increase available! **Working Hours:** * Two days off per week.
