We’re on a mission to make the UK’s social housing sector greener and more energy efficient. **Builder** – General Carpentry and Maintenance | Rochdale, Greater Manchester * **_£28,073.00 per annum_** _with on target earnings **up to £45K**_ * **_Full-Time, Permanent Contract_** * **_Annual Pay Review & Profit Share Scheme_** * **_Fully Costed Van & Fuel Card (EV options with free home install)_** * **_Full Uniform & PPE_** **_Exceptional Benefits_** * **_Employee Energy Allowance & Discount on HIVE Products_** * **_Company-Funded Healthcare + 24/7 Online GP Service_** * **_Company-matched Pension scheme_** * **_25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays_** * **_Full Sick Pay after successful probation_** * **_Life Assurance, Income Protection & Accident Insurance_** * **_Exclusive Retail Discounts & Financial Education Support_** **_Scope of Works_** * General building and maintenance work * Removal and reinstatement of boxing around boilers and flues * Removal and reinstatement of cupboards & air cupboards * Removal of decommissioned gas fires, brick up, opening and skim * Making good in and around flues and air vents, etc including basic brickwork and plastering * General carpentry i.e. lifting floorboards * Creating access for pipework in walls or behind kitchen units * Reinforcing walls for radiators Maintaining knowledge of all procedures and safety measures to **PH Jones** and **British Gas** standards. * Must hold a valid in date driving licence with no more than 6 points * Must hold a valid right to work in the UK * Desirable to hold a **CSCS/CSCS Alliance Red Card** (trainee & experienced) OR **Green Card** (Labourer) * NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing **Preferred** * Must be confident and have good written and verbal communication skills **Why should you apply?**       We’re not a perfect place – but we’re a people place.
