Global Asset Operations Manager - Advanced Wound Management

**Life Unlimited.** At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.   The **Global Asset Operations Manager - Advanced Wound Management** will lead the strategic coordination of regional fleet operations across all regions. Serving the Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Service&Repair functions, this role will establish a unified governance model, create/support standardized processes, develop performance metrics, and deliver insights to optimize fleet size, service levels, and cost efficiency. The role will act as a central point of contact between local operations teams and global leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. **What will you be doing?** * Coordinate and support regional fleet teams to ensure consistent global standards and best practices from NPI to EOL. * Develop and implement a global fleet policy covering lifecycle management, service levels, and cost control. * Design and maintain a KPI framework to monitor fleet size, utilization, cost, and service performance and compliance. * Provide regular reporting and dashboards to executive leadership on fleet health, cost and optimization opportunities. * Partner with Sales, Supply Chain and Service&Repair to ensure cost-effective and compliant fleet operations. * Lead initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership and improve environmental impact. **What will you need to be successful?** * Solid experience in medical device fleet management, particularly involving assets in hospitals, nursing homes, and similar settings is required. * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field. Advanced degree a plus * Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI development and reporting tools * Experience working with regional teams in a matrixed environment. * Strategic Thinking: Ability to align fleet operations with broader business goals and long-term planning. * Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in analyzing complex datasets to derive insights and drive performance improvements. * Cost & Efficiency Focus: Deep understanding of cost drivers and ability to identify and implement savings opportunities. * Communication & Reporting: Clear and concise communicator, capable of presenting complex data to senior stakeholders. **_You.
