Global Commercial Finance and Transformation Lead

**Location**_: Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, or Frankfurt, Germany, or working remotely_ **Our Team:** Business Analysis & Controlling (BA&C) team monitors Opella financial performance and trajectory, drives finance planning and forecasting processes, provides support to global and regional management on financial assessment of the business performance & making informed business decisions, as well as promotes simplification, harmonization, and automation across Opella Finance organization. **About the Job:** This role oversees **global Commercial Finance and Promotion Expenses** at Opella with respect to reporting, analysis, and performance insights. The role also actively supports the **transformation of Commercial Finance capabilities**. Working closely with the Opella Transformation Office and global and regional stakeholders, the role helps to drive the design, development, and deployment of future-state reporting & analytics capabilities while facilitating their end-to-end adoption across countries. Beyond Commercial Finance stakes, the position shall contribute to broader **Global Finance initiatives** and supports **coordination of Business Analysis & Controlling (BA&C) roadmap implementation** across regional Global Capability Centers (GCCs). The role operates in a matrixed environment, influencing cross-functional teams and global stakeholders without direct line management responsibility. The Global Commercial Finance & Transformation Lead position will directly report to the Global Head for Financial Analysis Planning & Reporting based in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. **Main Responsibilities:** This role combines accountability for **reporting & analysis** **of** **key business drivers (GtN and A&P)** with leadership of **strategic Finance transformation initiatives**. Acting as the **key liaison for the EULA region** **within the Bedrock Transformation Program**, the role aligns local, regional, and global stakeholders to drive **transformation of Trade Investment (Gross-to-Net) and Customer Profitability reporting**, including the design and rollout of standardized reporting, analytics, governance, and performance management capabilities across Opella. The role also leads and coordinates **other global initiatives**, including implementation of the BA&C Target Operating Model (TOM), enhancement of Finance data quality and accessibility, and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities to improve automation and analytical efficiency. Global Commercial Finance & Transformation Lead has the following key responsibilities: * **Lead Commercial Finance and Promotion Expense reporting and performance analysis cycles** for Actuals and Forecasts at global level, ensuring timely delivery of insights while serving as a global contact point for operational Commercial Finance and A&P matters (PVM, Gross-to-Net, customer sales performance, working & non-working media, etc.). * **Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Digital, & Country** teams to drive commercial finance data integrity, trade investment system harmonization, and adoption of standardized processes, while ensuring the central Commercial Finance framework is effectively adapted to different go-to-market models. * **Co-lead the design and standardization of customer profitability methodologies**, leveraging ERP data together with off-system enhancements for specific expense types that require allocation rules, to ensure consistent Customer P&L reporting across markets. * undefined * **Drive change management activities**, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication to support successful implementation. Monitor activity progress and report on key milestones, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership. * **Identify opportunities for continuous improvement** in financial processes and tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation. **About You:** * **Experience**: _at least 5 years of experience in Finance (Finance Business Partnering, Business Analysis & Controlling, etc.).
