Job Summary ----------- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a \[**Distribution Global Commodity Manager (GCM)**\] located in **\[Shanghai Zhangjiang, China\].** **What a typical day looks like:** * Serve as primary Distribution commodity lead for **North China region.** * Develop and execute distribution sourcing strategies to optimize cost, supply continuity, lead time, and inventory performance across authorized distributors and regions. * Manage strategic relationships with global and regional distribution partners, performance improvement, and business growth. * Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, payment terms, rebates, inventory programs, design registration, supplier-managed inventory (SMI), and value-added services to maximize competitiveness and profitability and achieve commodity KPIs. * Drive supply assurance and risk mitigation initiatives by monitoring allocation risks, geopolitical exposures, E&O management, inventory health, and business continuity plans across the distribution network. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve supply constraints, expedite critical requirements, and improve overall supply assurance. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Cost savings and Materials margin * Distribution spend management * Payment terms improvement * SMI performance * Program fee incentives * Distributor scorecard performance * North China growth and localization initiatives * Geopolitical risk mitigation and supply chain resiliency * Contract coverage and commercial compliance **Here are a few examples of what you’ll get for the great work you provide:** * Social Insurance * Life Insurance * PTO Job Category ------------ Global Procurement & Supply Chain Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
