**Why Kumamoto?**
Located in the heart of Kyushu, Kumamoto is a welcoming and highly livable city that offers a comfortable balance of culture, nature, and modern convenience. It is known for Kumamoto Castle, nearby Mount Aso, beautiful hot springs, excellent food, and a more relaxed pace of life than Japan’s largest metropolitan areas.
Kumamoto is also considerably more affordable than cities such as Tokyo. Housing, transportation, dining, and other everyday expenses are generally lower, allowing residents to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle while exploring Kumamoto and the wider Kyushu region.
The city is especially suitable for teachers who appreciate convenient city living but also want easy access to mountains, beaches, hot springs, and outdoor activities.
**Join Our Team**
We are prayerfully seeking an experienced and dedicated educator who desires to combine professional excellence with a sincere love for God and students. The right teacher will be excited not only to lead a combined Grade 4/5 class but also to help build a growing Christian school and contribute meaningfully to its future.
If KCI’s mission resonates with you and you meet the required qualifications, we invite you to apply and consider joining us as we build a Christ-centered learning community in Kumamoto.
