******Job Description Summary****** =================================== The GSI Finance - Billing Process Owner is a strategic advisor and change agent responsible for driving comprehensive automation and transformation of Billing system and process. This role requires a deep understanding of finance function, processes, and technologies to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and delivery. The successful candidate will possess a blend of contemporary digital and IT skills, solutions mindset, strategic thinking, operational expertise, and change management skills to lead complex process initiatives, and also lead a keen and capable team. **Job Description** =================== **Key Responsibilities** * Strategy Development and Execution Global Billing process for GSI Business: * Develop and execute a holistic Billing strategy aligned with business objectives. * Assess current finance operations, identify pain points, and define target operating models. * Develop business cases and ROI analysis for automation initiatives. * Billing Function Optimization, document ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ billing process maps * Define automation capabilities, focus on process simplification and data accuracy in billing * Redesign, automate and optimize invoicing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. * Implement industry best practices and leverage automation technologies (RPA, AI) to streamline operations. * Implement Transactional Service Team / Centres of Excellence to drive operational excellence. **Technology Implementation and Adoption**: * Lead the integration of finance systems (ERP, BI, etc.) with automation tools * Drive adoption of emerging technologies (cloud, AI, machine learning) to enhance Billing process capabilities. * Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the invoicing process * Develop self-service reporting capabilities to empower business users. **Change Management** * Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to ensure successful adoption of transformation initiatives. * Build stakeholder buy-in and manage resistance to change. * Provide training and support to finance teams throughout the transformation journey. **Team Leadership and Development**: * Lead and mentor a high-performing finance transformation team. * Develop talent and succession plans to build a strong finance organization. * Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. **Qualification / Desired Characteristics** * Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field MBA or advanced degree preferred. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on transformation and consulting. * Proven track record of leading complex finance transformation projects. * Deep understanding of finance functions, processes, and technologies. * Understanding of SAP -PS/SD modules is preferable * Training and working experience of implementing contemporary technology / advancements to finance processes * Working experience in a GCC organisation / similar IT set-up is preferred * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. * Excellent project management and organizational abilities. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. ******Additional Information****** ================================== **Relocation Assistance Provided:** Yes
