Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Operate haul units to transport materials safely and efficiently. * Conduct pre-operation inspections and report any issues. * Follow all safety protocols and procedures. * Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. * Maintain accurate records of materials transported. * Cross train in other plant equipment such as loaders, skid Steers ,water truck etc. * Assist in maintenance and production activities, including shoveling and cleanup of equipment as needed. **What Are We Looking For** * Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. * Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. * Flexibility to work in various weather conditions. **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** * $24.41 to $24.61 per hour. * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension. * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays. * Union paid annuity plan Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
