Join us in a modern work environment with an open and inspiring culture and colleagues.  The ZEISS Digital Partners unit based in Germany, Hungary, India and China - is developing and implementing cutting-edge digital and data solutions jointly with the Segments and Markets of the ZEISS Group.   About the Job  -------------- Join us as Head of AI Platform (f/m/x) and be part of the ZDP \- Digital Technology Accelerator unit. You will work on accelerating high priority emerging digital technologies like agentic AI @ speed and ensure their impact on your team within the ZEISS group @ scale. You will support ZDP in scaling its business with the ZEISS business units, in executing it more effectively and in staying on top of digital innovation. Your role --------- * You will be accountable for architecting, delivering, and continuously evolving ZEISS's enterprise AI platform, a secure, scalable, and compliant foundation that enables multimillion efficiencies and revenue uplift in AI-driven business value across the organization  * You will drive self-service capabilities that accelerate AI development cycles while building foundational infrastructure for emerging agentic AI use cases with appropriate guardrails and observability   * Through strategic technology decisions, operational excellence, and relentless focus on reliability, this leader transforms platform capabilities into competitive advantages for ZEISS's AI initiatives * Ultimately, our Head of AI Platform (f/m/x) serves as the technical cornerstone enabling ZEISS to scale AI innovation securely and efficiently across all Business Units Your profile ------------ * University degree in a technical subject  * 8+ years of professional experience in software- and enterprise architecture  * Min. 2 years of experience working on AI solutions and platforms * Proven ability to shape strategy, align diverse stakeholders, and drive architectural and platform decisions in a complex enterprise environment  * Demonstrated ability to drive organizational strategy and align cross-functional teams in a complex, multi-cultural environment * Proven leadership experience with distributed or international engineering teams  * Strong ability to influence, affect change, and drive decision-making at all organizational levels, from CxO to operational teams * Strong product mindset with a focus on developer advocacy, ensuring the platform is user-friendly, efficient, and supports diverse technical requirements * Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Proven project management expertise to ensure the successful execution of complex, cross-functional AI platform initiatives * Business proficiency in German and English, enabling effective collaboration across global teams and diverse cultural contexts Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Markus Repp
