Head of Corporate and Commercial

Join us as a Head of Corporate and Commercial * This is an opportunity for you to provide regional leadership and strategic direction for the bank * You’ll be supporting the business delivery, financial performance and risk management of the bank and delivering our current and long term vision * In return we’ll provide a platform for you to develop an influential position with key industry individuals, gaining valuable insight into our strategic direction What you'll do -------------- In this key role, you’ll be developing a team culture of providing outstanding customer service and deliver against the bank’s goals. As a Head of Corporate and Commercial, you’ll build a strong presence in the market where you operate and develop a strategy to acquire new customers. You’ll also be: * Motivating and providing strong leadership to private relationship managers across a wide geographical location * Engaging with local communities and developing a strong partnership with colleagues * Coaching private banking managers on a regular basis and making sure that they achieve good customer outcomes * Building an effective recruitment strategy both internally and externally across your local market * Working with your team to develop a customer contact strategy with a focus on acquiring and retaining quality customer relationships The skills you'll need ---------------------- To thrive in this position, you’ll have experience of building and leading a team across multiple sites alongside a strong knowledge of the retail banking sector. You’ll also be confident in working with complex MI with your excellent analytical skills. You’ll also demonstrate: * Exceptional coaching skills, with experience of developing high performing teams to deliver against their objectives * Excellent strategic planning skills, with experience of developing and delivering a complex business plan * The ability to successfully adapt to changing business and customer needs * Strong technology skills demonstrated by previous experience of working with Microsoft Office, custom databases and software programmes Hours 35 **Job Posting Closing Date:** 11/08/2026 Ways of Working:Hybrid
