**Job Description Summary**
The Head of EHS Singapore will provide strategic leadership to strengthen compliance,
consistency, and awareness across the service line. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior
leadership, the role ensures alignment with Cushman & Wakefield’s global EHS strategy by
driving ISO certification, ESG reporting, and risk mitigation initiatives. The position is pivotal
in embedding a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence through
stakeholder engagement, workforce consultation, and coaching of the EHS team. By leading
incident investigations, enhancing EHS platforms, and influencing change at a senior level,
the Head of EHS safeguards organizational resilience, supports business development, and
protects the company’s reputation across Singapore
**Job Description**
**About the Job:**
* Lead initiatives to strengthen compliance, consistency, and awareness across the service line.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on EHS matters.
* Drive ISO certification, performance reporting, and global ESG contributions.
* Identify and mitigate strategic organizational risks by developing governance practices, policies, and procedures aligned with Cushman & Wakefield’s global EHS strategy.
* Prioritize initiatives that address high‑potential risks and enhance EHS platforms.
* Initiate and lead workforce engagement forums to embed EHS practices at all levels.
* Oversee incident investigations, resource management, and platform improvements.
* Champion global EHS initiatives while supporting business development and client account management.
* Coach and develop the EHS team to build capability and ensure consistent delivery.
* Collaborate with regional and corporate resources to implement programs where local support is absent.
* Monitor legislative trends and best practices, ensuring compliance and preparing for new requirements.
* Provide regular updates and expert counsel to senior leaders during routine operations and major incidents.
**About You:**
* Degree or MSc in Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent discipline, with demonstrable experience in developing, implementing, and refining health, safety, and environmental management systems aligned to international standards.
* Registered WSH Officer and Fire Safety Manager.
* Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
* In‑depth knowledge and practical application of safety in construction and real estate management.
* Experience working across multi‑site environments in facilities, retail, construction, property, or service delivery sectors.
* Proven ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders at a strategic level.
* Current role of responsibility within an organization where brand and reputation management are critical, with accountability for the safety of large internal and external stakeholder groups.
* Competence in using IT engagement tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, video conferencing) to deliver meetings, workshops, and training sessions effectively.
