Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Support daily asphalt plant operations by performing general labor tasks and equipment assistance. * Monitor material flow, perform basic plant checks, and communicate irregularities to the plant operator. * Assist with routine maintenance, cleanup, and safe work area organization. * Use hand tools and support equipment to maintain plant efficiency and reliability. * Work collaboratively with plant and loader operator teams to meet production goals. **What Are We Looking For** * Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and follow established safety procedures. * Capability to learn plant processes, material flow, and maintenance tasks. * Strong attention to detail and awareness of changing conditions during plant operation. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Reliability, adaptability, and readiness to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced setting. **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** * $24.61 per hour. * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension. * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
