**Job Description**
Ares is seeking a Hospitality team member for our Corporate Services team in New York.
The Corporate Services team provides best-in-class support for all office operations and employee amenities within our new 8 floor, Class A office in midtown Manhattan.
The successful candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic, timeliness and the ability to be flexible and prioritize needs across pantries/kitchens. This role is focused on pantry and common space support including dishwashing, stocking pantry and restroom supplies and general tidying within a corporate environment. The role is highly mobile and requires a candidate who is hardworking and focused on delivering a clean space. The successful candidate will have experience in food service, washing dishes, and cleaning, preferably with some experience in an office environment.
Primary functions and essential responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining best is class presentation and display across Ares pantry, restroom, wellness and other common areas.
* Stocking and maintaining all beverages (coffee, cold brew, tea, sodas, etc.) in pantries.
* Stocking and maintaining all perishables and nonperishables (dairy, fruit, snacks and refrigerated snacks, etc.) in pantries.
* Inventory/stock/restock supplies across common areas.
* Best practices in pantry cleanliness and inventory management: “First In, First Out,” active management of expiry dates, commercial office-level cleaning standards.
* Responsible for ongoing dish washing, stocking and crockery replacement on assigned floors.
* Washing dishes across multiple floors, in multiple pantries continuously throughout the day
* Keeping track of overall dish count and reporting when additional stock is needed.
* Checking cleanliness of pantries, restrooms and wiping down counters and equipment as needed.
* Monthly cleaning of appliances.
* Weekly cleaning of dishware and snack cupboards/storage.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish storage areas (drawers and cabinets)
* Meeting Room support for catered meetings including catering and beverage setup, breakdown and refresh throughout.
* Report facilities issues through proper channels to larger facilities team.
* Align with daily calendared meetings as assigned and have full responsibility and independently be able to execute support for assigned meetings.
* Requires physical effort and reaching above shoulder and below knee.
* Helps load and unload supplies as required.
Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience Required:
* Knowledge/experience with proper dishwashing procedures and experience cleaning.
* 1-2 years of Food Services or Corporate Services (Hospitality/Professional Services) ideal

* Highly motivated work ethic, with timely and consistent attendance
* Ability to complete tasks and follow checklists to complete daily responsibilities
* Handle pantry duties and day-to-day issues independently with minimal supervision, assuming responsibility for core duties, and escalating appropriately
* Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
* Able to lift upwards of 50lbs+

**Compensation**
The anticipated rate for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.
$55,000 - $60,000
