Housekeeper

* **Job Title:** Housekeeper * **FLSA Status:** Part-Time (Non-Exempt) / $16.00 per hour * **Department:** Operations * **Reports To:** Operations Manager ### Position Summary The Housekeeper provides high-quality cleaning, maintenance, and setup services across all facility areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. ### Essential Responsibilities * **Facility Sanitation & Cleaning:** * Sweep, scrub, mop, and wax hard surface floors. * Vacuum and deep-clean rugs and carpets using standard and specialized machinery (e.g., vacuums, buffers, shampoo machines). * Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, woodwork, walls, ceilings, restrooms, and window shades. * Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles. * **Event Support & Facility Setup:** * Set up event rooms precisely according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) diagrams. * Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies safely. * **Safety, Maintenance, & Customer Service:** * Follow all established safety and sanitation procedures and maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. * Promptly report any facility damage, maintenance issues, or evidence of vandalism to management. * Maintain a professional, personable, and courteous demeanor when interacting with the public and coworkers. * Perform other related operational duties as assigned by supervisors. ### Qualifications & Requirements * **Physical Requirements:** Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical cleaning tasks. * **Skills & Competencies:** * Sufficient training, experience, and competence in commercial or facility janitorial operations. * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team. * Customer-service oriented with a professional attitude toward the public.
