Housekeeper

**Summary** **Job Description:** **Housekeeper** **Full Time, Second Shift 3pm-11:30pm** The Housekeeper is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. **Job Duties:** * Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor-saving products for all items within the healthcare environment for which tasked with servicing. * Follows all infection prevention practices (i.e. proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as well as proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Adheres to all organization safety, risk management and infection control guidelines and standards while promoting a culture of safety. * Removes waste and transports to the appropriate disposal area while identifying proper waste streams handling (i.e. regulated medical, recycle, solid, and hazardous. **Preferred Requirements:** * 1-2 years of Customer Service, 1-2 years of Hospitality, and/or 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience **Benefits:** * Tuition Assistance reimbursement program * Paid Time Off available for use upon hire * Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave * Bereavement Leave (includes pets) * Employee Assistance Program * Retirement plans with company match ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
