Hvof Blaster

**Position:** HVOF Blaster  **Shift: (**Days) Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30PM with some OT as needed **Position Overview:** The primary purpose of this position is to sandblast valves for customer shipment. **Job Responsibilities:**  * Strives to meet production schedules without sacrifice to quality or health and safety standards * Able to read and understand VTI sand blast and paint procedures * Protect any machine surface prior to sandblasting * Sandblast to SSPC-SP10 near white metal * May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor * Operate forklift when needed **Core Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or GED * Minimum of 1 years’ experience sandblasting * Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding * Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills * Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy * Must be able to lift 50 pounds. * Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time * Operate blast cabinet, walk in blast cabinet, and pot blasters
