Ice Crew

Duties and Responsibilities: ============================ * Works closely with the Operations Manager and Operation Team Leaders to assist with ice rink preparation and maintenance. Including some event set-up and services. * Assist with making ice for hockey and other ice related events including: dasher wall and dasher glass installation, building ice and painting/marking hockey lines and resurfacing ice as needed. * Responsible for the cleaning, upkeep and minor maintenance of the facility and related support areas. Reports all major maintenance items and safety concerns to management. * Assist with the cleaning, minor maintenance and proper storage of all ice event related equipment, including Ice Paint machine, Ice Resurfacing machine, hockey nets, hockey logos and other motorized equipment. * Operates motorized equipment in the performance of assigned duties ie: ice resurfaces machine, forklifts and Bobcat. * Compiles information and generates time reports for event wrap up information and work studies, tracts productivity, makes recommendations to management for increased productivity. * Responsible for delivering the highest level of service to all clients and events. Assists in resolving client’s questions and concerns. * This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of duties performed by this classification, but rather a representation of general duties.
