**A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic**
**R****esponsibilities:**
* Maintain accurate and organized records related to compliance activities, including policies, procedures, training materials, and audit documentation.
* Participate in compliance audits and assessments, both internal and external. Collaborate with audit teams to address findings and recommend corrective actions.
* Generate regular reports on compliance activities, key performance indicators, and potential areas of concern. Provide reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
* Assist in identifying and assessing compliance risks within the organization. Collaborate with relevant departments to develop strategies for mitigating these risks.
* Support investigations into compliance-related issues, incidents, or violations. Work closely with the Compliance Manager/Director to resolve and report on such matters.
* Monitor and stay up-to-date with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices. Assist in interpreting regulations and ensuring compliance across the organization.
* Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Work with cross-functional teams to communicate and train employees on these policies.
* Foster a culture of compliance by promoting open communication and awareness of compliance matters throughout the organization.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional) is a plus.
* Previous experience in compliance administration, regulatory affairs, or related roles is preferred.
* Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
* Bilingual (French and English) - written/spoken
