Imports Planner

**Position Overview** ===================== The Import Planner is responsible for In-Season and Pre-Season imports product planning. **A Day in the Life** ===================== * Own the end-to-end import forecasting process, which includes: delivering and presenting weekly import projections, analyzing performance against plan, and bridging monthly actual results in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders. * Lead the consolidation, validation, and reporting of complex shipping and purchase order data, translating large-scale operational metrics into actionable business insights that support merchandising, inventory, and financial decision-making. * Serve as the primary planning partner for import volume forecasting, curating and validating both preseason and in-season merchant forecasts at the class, container, and component level to ensure alignment with business objectives and supply chain capacity. * Drive ongoing forecast accuracy through rigorous analysis of key inputs and assumptions, including fill rates, sourcing trends, and operational performance metrics. * Collaborate closely with Merchandising Operations, Finance, Transportation, and Senior Leadership to develop quarterly plan updates, support long-range capacity planning, and build strategic 5-year import forecasts. * Utilize data-driven insights to identify risks and opportunities, recommend corrective actions, and improve forecast methodologies that enable effective inventory flow, cost management, and operational execution across the organization. **You'll Come With** ==================== * Thrives in Ambiguity: Demonstrates the ability to navigate changing priorities, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. * Ownership & Accountability: Takes full responsibility for deliverables from inception through completion, with a strong commitment to follow-through, accuracy, and results. * Exceptional Attention to Detail: Consistently produces high-quality work while managing complex data, multiple priorities, and tight deadlines. * Strong Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization * Collaborative Partner: Proven ability to build productive cross-functional relationships, influence stakeholders, resolve conflicts constructively, and work effectively within team environments. * Advanced Excel Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Excel, including the ability to analyze large datasets, develop complex models, create reporting tools, and ensure data integrity. * Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify trends, assess risks and opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations that support business objectives. * Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills: Effectively prioritizes competing demands, manages multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently delivers against deadlines. **Education:** * Bachelor’s Degree with quantitative coursework **Experience:** * 2-5 years of experience in analytics, management consulting, or merchandise planning is preferred * Experience with Statistical Analysis is preferred **Come join our team. Compensation Range: $86,000.00 - $105,000.00
