Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled **Staff Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack)** to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud-native development, modern frontend frameworks, and microservices architecture. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on development, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions. Key Responsibilities -------------------- * Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. * Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies. * Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern web technologies. * Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and backend services. * Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions. * Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews while ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices. * Support Agile delivery processes and participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. * Drive application performance optimization, scalability improvements, and troubleshooting activities. * Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes. * Resolve production issues and provide ongoing application support. * Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence within the team. * Contribute to architecture decisions and technology roadmaps. Required Skills & Experience ---------------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. * Minimum 9+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications. * Strong hands-on expertise in **Microsoft .NET technologies**, including: * .NET Core / .NET 6+ * ASP.NET Core * C# * Entity Framework Core * LINQ * Strong frontend development experience with: * Angular (Version 12+ preferred) * TypeScript * HTML5 * CSS3 * JavaScript * Bootstrap or equivalent UI frameworks * Experience designing and developing: * RESTful APIs * Microservices architecture * Event-driven applications * Strong database expertise in: * Microsoft SQL Server * PostgreSQL * Database design and performance tuning * Stored Procedures and Query Optimization * Experience with: * Git * Azure DevOps or GitHub * Branching and release management strategies * Strong understanding of: * Object-Oriented Design Principles * Design Patterns * SOLID Principles * Secure Coding Practices * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. * Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor development teams. * Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications ------------------------ * Experience with **Microsoft Azure** cloud services: * App Services * Azure Functions * Azure Service Bus * Azure SQL * Azure Storage * Azure Key Vault * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Azure AD. * Experience with application monitoring and observability tools. * Exposure to Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, or AI-powered enterprise solutions. * Azure, Scrum, or Agile certifications are a plus. * Insurance, financial services, or enterprise application experience is preferred.
