Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Indirect Tax Analyst** through **September 9th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Buenos Aires Time).**
**Main responsibilities may include but not limited to:**
* Tax returns preparation/supports the filing of tax returns
* Tax determination on customers billing
* Understanding of regulations and
* Business an accounting acumen
* Supporting internal and external audits
* ERP/tax applications and databases maintenance
**Main Activities:**
* Manage most complex account reconciliations. Address corrective measures that may also impact other teams. Prepare fluctuation analysis (P&L, B/S, payments).
* Analysis of accounting data and inventory gains/losses for tax reporting purposes.
* Conduct research for more complicated tax questions and contacts tax authorities for clarification as needed.
* Lead communication with business partners on issue/discrepancies resolutions.
* Review Chevron customers’ taxability application based on tax law and business to ensure compliance
* Leads, coordinates and collaborates on special projects as well as review regulations and procedures.
**Required Qualification/Soft Skills:**
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or tax
* Combination of 3+ years of tax accounting, finance and/or audit experience Excellent oral/written English skills
* Fluent in ERP/Tax systems or tax applications. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP)
**Preferred qualifications:**
* US or International Direct and Indirect tax experience
* Soft skills: coordination/Leadership skills
* Analytical skills and critical thinking
* Able to adapt processes in response to a fast-paced environment.
