Job Summary ----------- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Industrial Engineer** located on Flex South. Reporting to the Industrial **Engineering Manager** the **Industrial Engineer role** is responsible for leading industrial engineering and facility improvement projects, focusing on capacity planning, layout optimization, line balancing, and infrastructure implementations. **What a typical day looks like:** * Lead industrial engineering and facility-related projects for customers in the industrial sector, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are executed successfully. * Perform capacity analysis by evaluating installed capacity, required capacity, labor demand, equipment utilization, and production constraints to support business growth and operational efficiency. * Develop, update, and redesign manufacturing and facility layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring optimal material flow, space utilization, ergonomics, and safety compliance. * Coordinate and execute shop floor marking activities, including production areas, material storage locations, pedestrian walkways, and safety zones according to operational requirements. * Conduct line balancing studies to optimize manpower allocation, workstation distribution, cycle times, and production throughput. * Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies to identify waste, improve process flow, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs. * Support continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen events, root cause analysis, process optimization, and implementation of best practices. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Experience in similar position or Industrial Engineer. * Production & facilities management: capacity analysis, line balancing, and preventive/corrective maintenance. * Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing: principles of waste elimination, continuous flow, and continuous improvement. * Process mapping (VSM): introductory ability to document and analyze value streams. * Continuous improvement methodologies: basic exposure to Kaizen, 5S, and process standardization. * Lean Manufacturing knowledge * Advanced English spoken and written is good to have * Flexsim knowledge is a pluss **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Competitive Salary. * Life & Medical insurance. * Christmas Bonus. * Food Coupons. * Saving Fund.
