Intermediate Field Controls Technician

Our Data Center Service Engineering team is looking for an **Intermediate Field Controls Technician** to support advanced cooling systems at customer sites across the U.S. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys **troubleshooting HVAC and controls systems, traveling to customer sites, and solving technical challenges in the field**. **What You'll Do** * Travel to customer jobsites—**up to 75% on average**—to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and controls issues. * Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians onsite and remotely. * Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit/system interfaces. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues. * Support new product development and testing at Munters facilities. * Assist with prototype builds and provide feedback to Engineering and R&D. * Participate in Kaizen and cross-functional improvement initiatives. * Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects. * Work independently while collaborating with Service, Engineering, R&D, and Operations teams. **What We're Looking For** * **2–4 years of industry experience** or relevant trade school/certification. * Experience troubleshooting **HVAC equipment and controls systems**. * Ability to read and understand **electrical diagrams**. * Knowledge of HVAC components including compressors, valves, fans, and heat exchangers. * Experience working with equipment involving sheet metal, piping, valves, and heat exchangers. * Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently. * Willingness and ability to **travel extensively—up to 75%**. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active industrial/customer environments. **Why Join Munters?** * Competitive salary * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Flexible work schedule * Generous PTO * 401(k) with employer matching * Professional development and tuition reimbursement * Training and conference opportunities * Opportunity to work with **innovative technology supporting mission-critical data centers** **Munters is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** We value diversity and encourage qualified candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply. _All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check, as applicable for the position._
