The ZEISS Innovation Hub @KIT fosters collaboration between students, researchers, and industry professionals to drive technological advancements. **Your Role** ============= Integrated into a team of scientists and research engineers, you will work on research projects in medical robotics. This includes: * Developing and testing concepts for medical robotics and robot-assisted surgery * Evaluating concepts both in simulation and on real setups, getting hands-on experience with robotics in the medical field * Conducting experiments in our robotics laboratory * Presenting and discussing research findings in team and department meetings * Working with researchers and engineers in a collaborative environment at the ZEISS Innovation Hub Karlsruhe, located at the KIT Campus North **What We Offer** * An opportunity to build the foundation for next-generation products * A dynamic and international team with an active student community * Hands-on research experience in medical robotics, including experimental lab work * Mentorship by experienced PhD-level experts * A modern working environment with state-of-the-art tools for research (AI-assisted coding, etc.) **Your Profile** ================ * You are interested in technology and motivated to work on challenging tasks * You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related field * You have a strong engineering background and basic knowledge in robotics * You have programming knowledge in at least one of the following: Python, ROS, C++ * Good communication skills in English and/or German * A hands-on mentality, an open mind, and excellent problem-solving and innovation skills * Passion for emerging technologies and motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams Sounds exciting?
