**Lets Write Africa's Story Together!** Old Mutual is a firm believer in the African opportunity and our diverse talent reflects this. **Job Description** Job Title: Senior Investment Analyst (N) Business Portfolio: OMIG-Alternative Investments. **Role Description and Key Result Areas:** ========================================== * Identifying, analysing and evaluating prospective private equity investment opportunities * Collecting and analysing company and industry information to assist in identifying investment trends and new investment opportunities * Assisting in the due diligence, structuring and closing of new private equity investments * Construction of detailed financial models, term sheets, investment appraisal presentations, bid letters and agreements.  * Reviewing financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually, ad-hoc) and key returns metrics for portfolio companies. * Creation, management & maintenance of quarterly investment valuations reports and financial models. * Extensive interaction with senior management of target companies and investee companies. * Giving regular feedback to clients on a monthly and quarterly basis * Performing special research as needed, support in other areas as needed, other special projects or duties as assigned **Qualification** * Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent * Attained or studying towards a relevant (CFA/CA/CAIA) professional qualification **Competencies:** * 5 years+ experience in investment processes and management consultancy. * Wide understanding of different markets and business models and ability to judge the quality and motivation of management teams. * Commercial acumen and ability to source suitable investment opportunities. * Strong financial modelling skills. **Personal Attributes:** * Ability to think creatively about investment solutions and ability to identify opportunities. * Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. * Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, able to adapt to different audiences and build effective relationships. * Motivated by working towards goals and performance targets. * Thorough and detailed approach to organising work and maintaining accurate records. * Highly professional and ethical approach in representing the company * Enthusiasm to work in an entrepreneurial and innovative environment. **Skills** Accounting, Action Planning, Analytics Software, Budget Management, Client Management, Computer Literacy, Data Classification, Data Compilation, Evaluating Information, Numerical Aptitude, Oral Communications, Policies & Procedures, Professional Presentation **Competencies** Business Insight Collaborates Communicates Effectively Decision Quality Ensures Accountability Financial Acumen Instills Trust Manages Complexity **Education** **Closing Date** 09 September 2026 , 23:59 _**The Old Mutual Story!**_
