IT Operations Engineer

### **What You Will Do** * Ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and support of IT systems and infrastructure across the assigned geographical region. * Provide on‑site technical assistance, including hardware troubleshooting, software installation, configuration, and issue resolution. * Support end‑users by addressing daily IT requests, incidents, and service needs. * Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain documentation for IT assets, configurations, and operational procedures. * Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to align with Johnson Controls’ technology standards and security requirements. ### **How You Will Do It** * Deliver hands‑on support at the Istanbul office and customer/partner locations when required. * Apply structured IT incident management and problem‑solving methodologies to ensure timely resolution. * Use company‑approved tools and platforms to monitor system performance, track tickets, and manage configurations. * Follow cybersecurity and compliance guidelines to safeguard systems and data. * Communicate clearly with users, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations. * Work independently while escalating critical issues to senior engineers or global support teams when necessary. ### **What We Look For** * University degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). * Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or a similar role. * Strong knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals, network fundamentals, and end‑user device management. * Hands‑on experience with hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. * Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally. * Strong communication skills and customer‑focused mindset. * Ability to work on‑site and travel within the designated region when required. * Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
