* Run monthly and quarterly license reconciliation cycles and remediation campaigns.
* Lead vendor/license audits end-to-end with Legal/Procurement; orchestrate defensible positions and audit responses.
* Govern request/fulfilment flows (catalog items, approvals, RBAC policies) to ensure compliant provisioning.
* Track agreed SLAs and associated service credits to ensure vendor accountability and performance across IT run budget.
* Experience improving CMDB data quality and linking assets ↔ software ↔ entitlements.
**AI & Automation**
* Leverage ServiceNow Flow Designer/Integration Hub, APIs, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell/Python) to automate entitlement checks, reclaims, and notifications.
* Use Now Assist/GenAI responsibly for insights (e.g., summarizing renewal risk, anomaly detection) and for self-service experiences where appropriate.
**Reporting & Stakeholder Communication**
* Design executive dashboards across the IT spend (e.g., compliance %, savings realized, reclamation rate, ELP variance, spend vs. budget), and deliver clear, concise presentations to senior leadership.
* Publish monthly service reviews with trend analysis and recommended actions for improving the IT financial health.
**Risk, Compliance & Standards**
* Embed controls aligned to ISO/IEC 19770 (SAM), ITIL® 4 (IT Asset Mgmt/Service Mgmt practices), ISO/IEC 27001 (asset & access controls), and relevant SOC 2 expectations for software asset governance
**Collaboration**
* Partner with Finance, IT Strategy & Portfolio Management & Vendor Management to track, manage and forecast the IT Services run budget, ensuring cost control, transparency, and alignment with agreed service and commercial commitments and prevent audit exposure.
**Required Qualifications**
* 10–12 years of hands-on software license management across major vendors (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe, ServiceNow, Salesforce; understanding of Oracle/SAP models is a plus).
* Proven Product Owner for ServiceNow SAMPro/HAMPro with demonstrable delivery of process design, data governance, and platform enhancements.
* Deep knowledge of ELP, reconciliation, true-ups, SaaS/user-based licensing, device-based licensing, and audit defence.
* Strong reporting & presentation skills (Power BI/Excel/Slides); executive storytelling with metrics and outcomes.
* Excellent stakeholder management across Finance, Procurement, Security, Engineering, and external partners; strong written and verbal communication.
* Good to Have: AI & automation exposure: experience applying platform AI (e.g., Now Assist) and workflow automation (Flow Designer/IntegrationHub/APIs); ability to guide engineers on scripts (PowerShell/Python) and integrations.
