IT Specialist - Officer - Post-Trade Application - 12 Months Contract

Application makes up several specialized teams that have in-depth technology knowhow to support the on-going maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements and the development of next generation HKEX platforms. **Job Duties:** As IT specialist, you will perform application development, system testing and documentation of mission critical IT systems. You will also handle technical enquires and support testing by external and internal parties. **Responsibilities:** * Develop s/w as per program specifications. * Perform the unit tests and system tests. * Perform performance testing and performance tuning work. * Handle technical enquiries, perform investigation and support testing by external and internal parties related to the responsible IT systems * Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. * At least 2+ years’ experience in Java, Microservices and Container application development and support * Proficiency in Java and SQL, Linux and Windows operating systems. * Familiar with DevOps life cycles and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Git, Junit, docker, etc.) * Experience in cloud technologies or equivalent certification will be an advantage. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. _HKEX is committed as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
