### About the Role A well-established IT staffing and consulting firm is seeking an experienced **JDA MMS / AS400 Senior Consultant** to support, enhance, and optimize the JDA Merchandise Management System (MMS) on the IBM i (AS400) platform for a leading retail organization. This is a hybrid, W2 contract engagement based in Phoenix, AZ. ### What You'll Do * Provide functional and technical expertise in **JDA MMS**, covering Items, Pricing, Promotions, Markdowns, Inventory, and Sales Audit modules. * Support AS400/IBM i batch processing, troubleshooting, and system performance optimization. * Lead system enhancements, configurations, and integrations with POS, E-commerce, WMS, and Reporting Platforms. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams for requirements gathering, testing, and production support. * Ensure data integrity, auditability, and accuracy across merchandising and financial transactions. ### What We're Looking For ### Required: * 7+ years of hands-on experience with **JDA MMS on IBM i (AS400)**. * Strong knowledge of Retail Merchandising processes and workflows. * Proficiency in **RPG/CL, SQL, Batch Jobs**, and system integrations. * Proven ability to lead troubleshooting, upgrades, and production support in large-scale retail environments. ### Nice to Have: * Experience integrating JDA MMS with enterprise platforms such as POS, WMS, or E-commerce systems. * Background in retail supply chain or financial systems. ### Compensation & Benefits * **Pay Rate:** $70–$75/hour (W2) * ### Employment type: Contract (W2) ### Location * **Phoenix, AZ** — Hybrid on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office) * Visa sponsorship policy: Not specified — candidates should confirm eligibility directly.
