Avani+ is an uplifted extension of the Avani brand with Avani+ Fares being one of few within the brand and is the first such branded resort in the Maldives The resort will have 200 keys and multiple F&B outlets as well as Spa, Recreation Diving and Water Sports Facilities Avani teams pride themselves as Open-minded, Upbeat and Genuine. **Key Duties And Responsibilities** ----------------------------------- * ### Kids Club Attendant provides a friendly place for children and attend to their personal needs. * ### Supervise, facilitate, and engage in entertaining activities with kids * ### Provide childcare to children including paging parent/guardian if necessary to assist with discipline issues and attending to personal needs. * ### Provide babysitting services when required. * ### Keep the kid’s restaurant and activity area in good condition. * ### Take the lead of the Minor Hotels Children Programme. * ### To assist team in cleaning and always clearing up all work areas. * ### To look after all guest service areas and maintain it to the highest standard level. * ### To check and follow up on the repair and maintenance of the kids club. * ### To ensure all equipment is in safe condition and in working order. * ### To reports any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices to the Supervisor immediately. * ### Able to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency. * ### To complete all assignments stated by deadlines with the spa Supervisor’s guidelines. * ### To respond to the change as indicated by the company. * ### To establish good relationship and rapport with guests and colleagues. * ### To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the company’s policy and procedures. * ### To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the company’s policy related to fire, hygiene, health and safety. **Qualifications** ------------------ * ### Previous experience as a Kids Club Attendant, Childcare Assistant, or in a similar role within a hotel or resort is preferred. * ### Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Childcare, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage. * ### Passionate about working with children and creating memorable guest experiences. * ### Friendly, energetic, patient, and approachable personality. * ### Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children of different age groups. * ### Creative in planning and conducting fun, educational, and recreational activities. * ### Knowledge of child safety practices and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations. * ### Basic First Aid and CPR certification is an added advantage. * ### Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage. * ### Ability to work in a multicultural environment and provide exceptional guest service.
